Whitney, a Quitman, Louisiana native, joined the Johnston Dental Care Team in August 2016 as a Business Assistant/Dental Assistant. She went on to achieve her Expanded Duty Dental Assistant Certification. Whitney loves spending time with her husband, Dakota, riding her horses, and barrel racing!

Amanda W. DeMoss, a Ruston native, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the LSU School of Dentistry in May 2001. Amanda practiced as a Registered Dental Hygienist May 2001-June 2019. She practiced in Houston, TX for 3 years before returning to Ruston. Amanda joined the Johnston Dental Care team in 2004 and continued her practice of Dental Hygiene until June 2019. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, her years of dental hygiene had to be placed on pause. After a year+ of medical leave, the Johnston’s and Amanda were determined to keep her in the dental field. It was 2020 when she shifted into those new roles at Johnston Dental Care. Amanda served as Interim HR Administrator and continues to serve as Johnston’s Marketing Director, as well as their Employee/Community Engagement Ambassador. Amanda’s love for dentistry and her patients are relentless. DeMoss has always stated that dental hygiene has always been a calling, not a job. When she is not at the office, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family. Being on a lake and watching Murphy and Davis play ball are her favorites.

Alyssa is a Ruston native, who graduated from Ruston High School in 2017. She joined the Johnston Dental Care Team in early 2020 after graduating dental assistant school. Alyssa also has a passion for working with young girls at the Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home. In her down time, she loves going hiking with her dog Baby Roux.

Sidney, a Ruston native, has been practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist since May 2018. She earned her B.S. degree in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University in 2015. She then went on to graduate from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, receiving her B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene in 2018. Sidney practiced in Metairie, Louisiana for 2 years as a dental hygienist. She and her husband, Doctor Murphy, joined our Johnston Dental Care team in June 2020. When she is not at the office, Sidney enjoys running, traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with their dogs, Remi and Benelli.
